A year later, I am fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity by Committed Comics and Tom Doherty to show the world what I can do within the confines of the 4-color-medium I have come to love. I thank them every day for the gamble they have taken with me, and I hope that next year we'll know for certain that their gamble paid off.
I would throw up some new art that I recently received, but I don't believe I should. At least not until things are finalized, but there are updates coming and with SDCC around the corner, I will definitely have some art or product news to display.
In the "making a name for myself" department, I haven't done as well as I had hoped, but to the four followers I do have, I thank you for the occasional read (special shout out to my very much loved best friend Stephanie Wu and my PRT buddy K. Weems). And I suppose it isn't the size of followers but the quality of followers. So I thank you reader for putting up with my ramblings.
Although I don't have a large number of followers, I think this blog did accomplish this second mission. Without it, I don't believe this post would ever have happened.
And so a year and 100 posts later, I think I am on my way to making my mission statement a bit more of a reality, and hopefully, you guys stay with me and I'll keep writing.
To close, here are some of my favorite blog entries:
1.An entry about the Olympics and the significance of the Hero
2.An entry I did in class, but I felt compelled to elaborate on this photo
3.An entry where I finally had GOOD art for my series(although change is comin')
4.An entry on why Greg Pak and Magneto's Testament is amazing
