Comics: The Afterword

So if you have been keeping up with my book, I have finished penning the majority of the script and I now have an afterword to write. This is pretty freaking hard to be honest. I've never had to write the birth of the book to anyone before, and what's even weirder/scarier is that I have to present myself to the world with this afterword.

I'm finding it difficult to find the right tone. Do I want to be serious and intellectual? Or light hearted and personable? It's a weird balancing act that no one ever teaches you how to do. In Creative Writing classes, they just tell you to write the story, but what about after that? How do you explain to someone what the creative process was like?

It's a weird thing that I'll have to get over, but it's just another interesting layer of the job that I never thought I would understand.

Based on the Chris that I used to know - :) - I'd say that you are pretty darn good at conveying your lighter side while still remaining serious. I know you can do it! Good luck.
