NYC: Second Day at the Office

Wednesday, June 16, 2010 Posted by Chris Tung , , No comments
Things I did today:
-Learned how to log into the scanner
-Learned how to use our scanner
-Learned how to send our mail from the scanner to an editor
-Made friends out of fellow X-Men Intern, Adam Del Re, and Talent Manager, Zach (forgot last name)
-Apparently, interns can go out to lunch if they so choose (I stayed in on the first day and didn't eat out of fear of getting locked out)
-Where to get references for artists/writers
-Learned how to run a cover (and who to run them to)
-Technically, I learned not to interrupt the flow of an eyeline by implementing a word bubble right in between the action.

Updated [6/17/2010]: Also the one thing that I learned was never stop reading comics. Even those shitty ones that you thought "Damn it wasn't fun; it didn't progress the story; it didn't even have character development". That book is still a useful book because it helped me find an obscure reference almost immediately because I have read that shitty book. So read as many comics as you can, you never know when it'll come in handy.

That's all for today. We'll see what Friday will bring. Also, for anyone that cares, on Tuesday and Thursday I should almost always have an article up for Skattertech. So if you want some tech news from your's truly, go there!
