From articles about startups & geek culture to career & life advice, these are the thoughts on the Tip of my Tung.

My name is Chris Tung, and I've been a diehard nerd my entire life. When I was a kid I learned how to code so that I could build my own guild in Neopets and create my own RPG from scratch, and after my old, hand-me down Dell could no longer keep up, I went and built my own computer. Then, while pursuing my BA in English at UC Davis, I wrote my own comic book, God Among Men, which got picked up by Committed Comics, which then led me an internship at Marvel Comics where I assisted the X-Men office.

After finishing college, I moved to New York, and I've been able to use my love for technology and all things geek at three amazing start-ups: Quidsi (better known for their sites,, and, Bonobos (the premiere e-commerce platform for better-fitting pants), and, most recently, comiXology (the best place to buy and read digital comics).

I've been fortunate to have been able to move to New York without any job prospects and make a pretty solid career at some of the biggest start-ups in Silicon Alley, and now I want to share the experience I've gained to help those of you that need some advice or could use some guidance. So, I hope you enjoy these thoughts that are on the Tip of My Tung.
